11. We did not see Kashi again for many hours. We started to get worried. We had gotten to talk with Cassandra and got a portal to Seven-Stone for the morning, but Kashi still had not returned. Joey tried a Sending Spell. Then Another. He talked that someone had stolen Kashi’s “Bracer” off of his forepaw. Sendri laughed about that. Then Joey talked that this was a bracer of holding, and it was holding Kashi’s sticks of Disjunction. Everyone bad-talked. Sendri talked that she would go to find the bracer. Nikki went with her for protection. The rest of us stayed at the Inn and waited.

12. After another hour, Sendri and Nikki came back with the bracer, but not with Kashi. Sendri was laughing. I think Nikki was too, but it was almost too squeaky to hear. They told the story of what had happened. Kashi had been running through Sigil in his “Form of DOOM” scaring people and smashing things for hours. Sendri and Nikki went to the Grand Bazaar and went shopping in the magic-stalls. Nikki had used a spell to know EXACTLY where the bracer was; they found that stall and saw a person talking about buying Kashi’s “Pouch of Snow”.

13. The person bought the snow-pouch and went away. Sendri talked with the shop-owner, a tall-blue-man-shaped person called an “Arcane”. After some honey-talk and gold-talk, Sendri bought the Bracer. Then Nikki went out to try and find Kashi. She got lucky and saw him running around close to the Bazaar. She tried making an Illusion YELL for him to come to the Bazaar, but Kashi was running too fast and did not hear it. Then Nikki fired a hurt-light spell right in front of Kashi. He must have felt it; He stopped running long enough to hear Nikki yelling. She told Kashi the path to the “Stall” with his bracer. Kashi Bad-talked about not seeing Nikki before and talked, “OK, next time I take the eye-patches OFF!”

A few minutes later, Kashi came to us bad-talking about Sendri “Tricking” him and about having left “Some Poor rogue” with his clothes burned off and BAD-scared in an alley close to the Bazaar. Everyone was laughing HARD.

16. We cast our spells for tomorrow…after everyone could breathe again. Not much else happened that night. We had supper; Sendri talked about making her last meal a good one. There was sleeping and Snuggling and pleasure-play like usual. I think a lot of what I heard was snuggling; everyone was a little scared. The next morning we all got up early. We had breakfast and talked goodbye to the Bronze Dragon. Joey left diamonds with the dragon again in case of BAD trouble. Most of us were dressed or undressed like usual, but Sendri was wearing a very shiny dress. It looked smooth and bright, with gems and gold in it. Nikki good-talked that it was “Stunning”. Sendri talked that it was a Dancing Dress, and that she planned to teach Davian a new step.

17. We went through the portal and came to Seven-Stone. There were NO ships there, and almost no people. We asked a boy on the dock, he talked that the ships had left days before, and that the fight should happen today. Sendri bad-talked a little. We started talking about teleport and fly and find-the-path and other spells; I am sure we could have found the fight fast enough. But just then we heard a voice ask if we were looking for the battle.

18. We turned and saw a ship at a dock where I KNOW it had not been seconds before. It was a strange ship. It had smoke-towers and sails and spinning blades to make the wind. Standing in front of us was a gnome. He wore enough metal-pieces that he had armor. He had an Eye-patch, a fancy hat, and talked a lot like Kashi had been. The gnome talked that he could take us to the battle if we fought on the side of freedom. We all talked yes. He talked for us to “Come aboard” his ship and that his name was “Sinken Shippen”. We walked up the “Gangplank” to his ship. Sinken’s steps sounded too loud on the plank, like a Giant was walking instead of a gnome. We came onto his ship. It felt…Holy? The power of a god was here. Joey thought for a second, then talked that Sinken Shippen was a Gnomish god. THAT is a god? And this ship is his domain?

19. Domain or not, the ship was WRONG. The spinning blades should not have made enough air to move. The sails were pointing wrong. Some of the crew were people and gnomes, some were METAL MEN. Sinken gave orders that had boat-words in them, but did not really mean anything. His men all acted like they did not hear Sinken, but the boat started moving anyway. I could feel big things moving under the floor. Metal rats were running around on the deck and the ropes. Joey pulled me to him and put my face in his shoulder. I did not stop him. This ship was not bad, but it was WRONG. It should not move, should not float, should not BE. I think part of it was wood, part of it was metal, part was STONE! Thank you Joey. I did not want to see that ship.
