Wienberg looks DOES look like an ass, but not as intended :) he said "period doubling when a linear oscillator is strongly driven" I think he meant "non-linear oscillator"

And what the hell is a "bistability." Does Jim mean instability? I think Wienberg isn't the only one screwing it up. It sounds like they kinda memorized bits of some publication.
