Possible future scene from my campaign

The PCs hustle the freed slaves onto the wagon. From some mixture of diplomacy and force, they get the gorillas pulling the wagon to start moving. They can hear the howls of the goblin wolf riders, but they've blocked the kennels. By the time the goblins free their mounts, the PCs will be far and away.

Then they hear a horn sound. Looking back they see several ape-drawn war chariots gaining ground, each outfitted with a pair of hobgoblin archers.
