Not a tremendous going on...which is perfectly fine after the lunacy Scarby season.
Catching up on stuff (cleaning mostly), and I have been going to physical therapy for the past 3 weeks. Getting past a certain age, your body starts to tally up past abuses and begins to complain. I've had a problem with my left knee and right shoulder for the past 3 years or so (which is about the same time I started doing stage combat...grin) and lost a lot of motion range so I finally got tired of the pain and started doing PT. An odd experience, involving ultrasound, muscular electrostimulation, and lots and lots of different painful exercises to bulk up the surrounding muscles and tissues to take the strain off the vaious wonky parts.
Seems to be working - I can move my arm much further around and the pain is subsiding. I'll end up with one arm looking like Popeye and one less well developed, which I am sure will result in various rude comments about how that occurred - which I will pointedly ignore.
ThatSRGKid is looking for a summer job, which should prove interesting, and is taking his SAT Saturday morning which means he'll be late to the Company Dinner, but at least he'll be there.
We plan on taking the Royal Guard tent down before the dinner - just hope it'll still be there after all the high winds!
And that's the State of the Matt for now.
Cheers, all! See most of you on Saturday.
