Bad things keep happening to my friends, but - so far at least - things have been going peacefully enough for me over the last few weeks.
Things accomplished:
1. Continued to work on a short sword vs. short sword fight with shayzamn. We had some specific ideas about the style of fight we wanted, but the thing has developed a mind of its own.! It’s not quite the flamenco dance we had initially visualized, but should be graceful, sinuous and (hopefully) fun to watch.
2. Various house cleanup and uncluttering accomplished. Lots more open space upstairs, which is happy making.
3. Prepping for an upcoming Guard workshop coming along. Still have some things left do be done/worked out, but hope to have these resolved soon
4. Plans for the new Officer’s Scarlets is coming along nicely...should be rather spiffy...
5. Annual raise is pending...which will probably go towards (yet more) ren-stuff. One just can't have enough garb, weaponry or equipage...
