Beating up on oneself is fine for 5 minutes to make sure one is aware of a failing. Anything longer, however, is self-indulgent and counterproductive.

I can’t make 30 or 40 new Playtron Guards appear out of thin air, and I should stop trying. Corollary: Steady recruiting takes longer, but will result in more committed Royal Guards. I hope.
Jousting against Sir Nicholas Carew on the Sliding Joust ride after much bombastic (and loud) bragging to drum up a fairly decent-sized crowd really opened up my character’s potential. It was also the MOST fun I’ve had in some time. Thanks to MeanGrimlock for playing so nicely. Best of all - Paul took pictures!
I need to ensure that there are enough Cast or Playtron Guards on duty before I detach myself from Their Majesties, especially if they are splitting up.
There are some VERY cool new character concepts floating around for upcoming years that I am excited to see being played in the lanes.
The response so far on the Guard Officers wearing Scarlet (on Sundays) next year has been generally quite positive. It’s a break with tradition, and I’m still hesitant, but we’ll see how it goes…
