Was gonna work on my comic some yesterday but I had a bit of a headache and gmod would’ve made it much, much worse (I tend to get motion sickness with some games). If I can I’ll work on it some tonight.
Also, I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but I finished that No Country for Old Men comic when I said I would, but I haven’t bothered posting it because it’s just not very funny. I learned a valuable lesson about comic making, or just general storytelling: Take your time or it’s gonna suck. Especially with gmod comics, since if you don’t get the beats just right you’re gonna have to go all the way back into the game and repose everything to get a few more shots here and there. Work with an outline, work with an outline.
Amber suggested that I start reviewing movies with gmod comics and posting them on my site. I like the idea, but the last two movies I saw (Jumper and THERE WILL BE BLOOD) sucked in such spectacularly boring fashion that there’s not much that can be made fun of about it. Jumper would be a three-panel comic about nothing, while There Will be Blood would be a three hundred-panel comic about nothing, except without all the special effects.
I thought it was just indie movies that were sucking beyond belief, but it’s really everything.
