Change we can believe in.
I'm not a sappy person. I dunno, maybe it's because I'm getting older but I cried on the ride home when I heard Barack Obama say "God Bless you all, and my God bless American." You don't have to like Obama, but I'm confident then by the time he's out of office you will apperciate what the man has done. If not only breaking racial barriers, but in uniting a crumbling nation. Traffic literally stopped, people jumped onto the roofs of thier cars and blasted his acceptance speech. People cried and danced and prayed in the streets all over the world. Now, I can see how this could worry some, think V for Vendetta - a nation in need falls to a single man to protect them, but I believe whatever Obama and the change he will bring will be good, not only for America but for the world.
Thank you to everyone who voted. We had an estimated 64.1 % turn our rate, which we have not seen since 1908. 100 years people. At least he's helped revive the politcal process for Americans.
