JESUS SAYS: Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
I would take refuge in levity, but I don't feel like doing that.
So am I doomed? Is this devil-using-scripture or does God really hate me now?
I got an anonymous SMS this afternoon: God is the parent of the prodigal child, waiting faithfully and eagerly on the road for our return, night after night. There are no folded arms and stern judging stares, only the eyes of a parent straining for our return, longing to embrace us and rejoice in us.
Is this the way pop-culture would have us see God or is it true. Because this is God who, among other things, mauled 42 children to death with bears for calling Elisha a bald-head. 2 Kings.
