Believe me, it's alright

At university, waiting for class to start. Somehow, I don't think there's going to be many people here today. It's almost end of session, so people are like "can't be bothered" or "I've got assignments to do". Lazy. Anyway, I'm hoping we get off early cause I want to go home and sleeeep.

So while I'm waiting, I thought I'd do a general update entry.

University life is pretty sweet at the moment. I feel comfortable here, walking around, amongst people. I don't feel like the new kid anymore, and now that I'm almost finished the session (I've got some more assignments due) I know that I can handle the workload. The thing I love most is that the teachers value your opinion and your interests - they want you to express yourself to the class and in your writing. It's different to school, where you do the work and shut up. I mean, you talk to your teachers, but it's more constricted. At university, you're there because you want to be. :D

Musically, I'm still in love with The Beatles. My mum thinks this is incredibly sad, seeing as how she liked them when she was my age, and she's 30 years older than me. And when I say I like Paul, she groans cause she was always a Ringo girl. hahaha. This is my mum. Apart from the Beatles, I love the song "Breathe Me" by Sia. Just found it and love it.

heaven can wait we're only watching the skies

Ok, the teacher has arrived and there are 4 people in class. 4. What the hell. More arrived. we now have 7 people. :S

So. Book wise, I'm reading 'All Quiet on the Western Front', which was lent to me by Krause. I'm quite amazed by it. I don't get a lot of time to read it, but when I do I love it, even though it is quite brutal and in your face. Very sad, though.

Urgh. I hate the people in this class (most of them), especially the girls. The majority of the class is girls, we have like 3 boys. All the 'cool' girls (you know the ones I'm talking about - the ones that assume the top position) flock to the only 'decent' guy in their opinion. They mob him. They crowd him and giggle at him and fight over who's going to sit next to him. It makes me sick. Personally, I can't see the appeal. This is my last class ever in this subject, and I can't wait to leave them and their fucking teenie obsession with this guy.

"I always miss my students." LOL the teacher says she's going to miss us. "Until we don't have classes anymore, then we see each other round campus and then we forget each others' names."

Very positive.
Ok, time to work ++ Joanna is here \o/ I'm not alone :D

university, book: all quiet on the western front, band: the beatles, song: breathe me, university: friends
