Lots of reading this semester. It's been a pleasant change. Finished The Handmaid's Tale. It's sad, but good. No god but God by Reza Aslan is an interesting book on the "origins, evolution, and future of Islam," as the subtitle declares.

The Science and Literature class is definitely yielding more interesting discussion than I thought it would -- I didn't know there were entire books written about the comparison and conflict of the "two cultures" (the arts and science). I've always felt the division in my life, even though I've enjoyed both, so it's neat to look at those things more closely. Yeah, I'm a geek. :P

Not much opportunity/time for photography, though, between all this reading and the research stuff I've been doing with Jeremiah for the Undergraduate Research Conference. Maybe I'll take the Nikon for a walk tomorrow.
