the long weekend is coming to a close
So I don't update this thing so much anymore. It's almost 4 years old. Craziness, right? But it's good to have all these memories in one place.
This weekend was homecoming. Friday was pretty much devoid of class. And thus a do-nothing day. Saturday as well. And today. Except for minor reading. I went out to alpha sig Saturday night and that was pretty fun, except for my realization that the houses aren't my scene. I'd much prefer to drink a small group where conversations are actually possible.
There were fireworks Saturday night, too! In Buckhannon! FWIZZZ BAM BOOM!!
Oh, and I did my first portrait photoshoot Friday night. It was pretty neat and fun, but I'm not entirely happy with how the fotos turned out, so I think we'll do it again. My camera might just not be what I need it to be, but I think it has to do with some skill I'm lacking, persmaps. Gotta hold the camera steadier!
And now a return to the grind tomorrow. Plant systematics constantly looms over my head. As does mol cell, but not so much right now. Need to talk to my advisor about the ol' MCAT score.
