Child's Play- Charity started by Gabe and Tycho of the Penny Arcade fame:
Since 2003, gamers have banded together through registered Seattle-based charity, Child's Play. Over a million dollars in donations of toys, games, books and cash for sick kids in children's hospitals across North America and the world have been collected since our inception.

We collect no administrative fees or other charges, 100% of all gifts and donations go directly to our partner hospitals, to help make life a little brighter for a sick child.

Second Harvest Inland Northwest
Incorporated in 1972 as a central warehouse for Spokane food pantries, Second Harvest (then the Spokane Food Bank) distributed food to 13 city and county sites.
Second Harvest distributed 14.3 million pounds of food valued at more than $22 million last year.
Second Harvest serves more than 300 partner nonprofit agencies, including 21 counties in Eastern Washington and five counties in North Idaho.
