No, no-- I don't think you understood my meaning: Moscow is boring. But in a *good* way. :) We *like* that Moscow is relatively boring. ;)
As far as the furry get-together: I don't think having it in Moscow would be a very good idea. The main reason for this is simply that it's too hard for people living a significant distance away to be able to attend. (Especially anyone who depends on air travel to get here.) Spokane would be better, but Seattle would be best. (Besides, most furs in the pacific northwest do live in or near Seattle, so you're likely to get a better turn-out if you do it in their backyard, eh.)
(And yes, I know from experience that it's a pain in the ass to plan an event in Seattle when you live 300 miles away.)
Um... I know there's still a lot of interest in having a northwest furry get-together of some sort this year. I would suggest that you ask around in the Seattle-based furry forums and e-mail groups to see if anyone there would be willing to help you organize it. (Having someone local at least be able to check out possible facilities will save you the trouble and expense of trying to get there to check it out yourself.) You might also find that there is a group already working together to get something together, and you can hook up with them.
And... as far as my participation... I'm actually not all that interested in helping to plan/run the thing right now. I'm interested in attending if you can get something together, although I doubt late August will work for us since Teeka and I will be gearing up for her school which starts on the last week of August.
