it's funny. unlike jesse, i have always hated geocities. the pages always took forever to load and they looked like shit whenever they finally did load. despite this, however, i find myself a little sad they are shutting down and have been nostalgically reminiscing about the days when i would curse any link i clicked on that took me to a geocities page.
