SIMS 2 Soap Opera! suggestions for a title are most welcome!
Background: The four housemates live in a two bedroom, 1 bathroom house. The house cost them about 13000 dollars which left them with a whopping 7000 to buy things with. Amazingly, a relative of one of the roommates died and left them with 200,000 dollars! (Or, Leah used the cheat code and got them that much money!)
So, they bought the best they could. Seeing as there was 2 girls and 2 boys (boys=E and R girls= L and H), they bought two double beds. The problem with this is that if they aren't friends they can’t sleep together in the same bed. So to be able to make it a somewhat family show, i promptly turned off freewill and made myself god and told them exactly who they should like and start to be friends with. It was amazing. In less than a half hour I had E and L together and R and H. It was an amazing first day.
In the house they have a bookshelf, pinball game, an aquarium, a TV, and a computer for their entertainment needs. They also have the best fridge, stove, shower, and 2 toilets. Amazingly enough, they have two because I realized, eventually, someone is going to have to pee at the same time as someone else and shooing someone out of a bathroom while they're peeing is not nice. So I had them install another toilet in the back bedroom. They seem to favor that one.
E is a free thinker and is in the search of knowledge. L is a slut who is also smart because I make her that way. R wants to have a baby even though he's not married nor does he have a girlfriend. He also seems to be completely useless. H is extremely clean and also wants a family...She hasn't done much...yet.
Okay...events in (as close to) chronological order
-E, L, H, and R all move in to their extremely small house for four adults.
-they all immediately start to flirt…because I make it that way. E and L become fast friends, and if I can remember correctly, also start to make out in the front room. It takes H and R a little bit longer to warm up to each other, because, apparently, they have nothing in common and therefore cannot hold a decent conversation. I eventually make them like each other and all seems like its going to be okay.
-I allow the housemates to peruse the house and discover what they like and don’t like. They all loved the aquarium that was added to the first bedroom. E took immediately to the easel and started to paint. What he was painting, I have no clue.
-because 3 of the 4 people in the house are complete slobs, H hires a cleaning lady.
-Because I’m a bitch to my Sims, I made R pee his pants. After that, he had low self-esteem, became depressed, and cried for an entire day. H couldn’t even cheer him up with her flirting and sexy ways.
-because of R’s incessant whining and crying, H turned to L for support and started to flirt with her. Unfortunately for both L and H, E and R saw it. They then ran to their respective girlfriends and slapped them and told them off for flirting with someone else.
-to get back at H, R decided to flirt with the maid. H saw this and slapped R. He then started to cry again. In the mean time, he still wanted to have a baby because I locked that certain aspiration. Unfortunately, I don’t think its in his near future.
-Because of the falling out between the couples, the relationship that L and H had built was also brought down.
-In some better news, R has come out of his depression and is still somewhat useless.
-H cleaned up everyone’s mess from dinner this past night and yelled at me because she was sooooo bored and not having any fun. Because of this, I turned freewill back on because I couldn’t take them yelling at me so much.
-It was amazing because everyone became really tired at the same time and wanted to sleep. This was a problem because there were only 2 beds. E and H got to sleep in the beds which left L and R to fend for themselves. I took pity on the poor souls and got rid of the couch for the 6 hours (in Sims time) that they needed to sleep and added two twin beds. R and L appreciated this and went straight to them to pass out.
-L, being the amazingly smart woman that she is, decided to look for a new place for her and her 3 roommates to move into. She had no luck because I can’t figure out how to move them. It worked in one game, but now I can’t get it to work in this one…
-R made himself useful twice! He not only cleaned the fishtank, but also tried to move the household to a new house because he thought that their current house was just too small. He also failed.
-E, upon entering the house, immediately took to the easel. He’s a horrible painter right now and only has gained two creativity points with it. Which means that his painting of a brunette girl in a lime green dress against a magenta background sold for a whopping 2 dollars! He didn’t seem very pleased. I think he was hoping for more money.
-E fell in love L. This is unfortunate for E because L is a slut and only wants him to use him for her own sexual needs. He will eventually have his heart broken.
-Over a game of pinball, L and H became best friends! I wonder if there is something more there…I had no say in what they were doing…because obviously, I turned on freewill.
