Phase Two

Summer is always kinda broken up into three parts. The last bit of June, when you've just gotten out of school and you're getting acclimated, July and camp or work, and August, the dying days of freedom when you start to sorta-kinda-not really think about school again. So I try to divide up with the stuff I doin summer. The first part is officially over! Summer begins in earnest. I went to Truckee with Emily and Mara. We drove home Friday. Tomorrow I starts work at Clayworks, a ceramics camp. Even though ballet started before we left for Truckee, tomorrow I'm starting to focus on it better. And tennis. So tomorrow begins the summer routine. Sigh. Sometimes I think summer is reality and school is an interruption. Like now. ANyways, the trip was really fun. We went river rafting, mini-golfing, kayaking, paddleboating, tubing, and swimming in the lake, it was intense. I taught Emily and Mara how to knit and we did that the entire car ride home. My wallet is way lighter, but I have two new hats and two scarves also. I still haven't told my dad I charged $100 of knitting supplies to his credit card. Yikes.
