mondays blow

I was just thinking about the pooiness of school as a system. It's like Jenga. You can't really win, you can only lose. You don't win by getting straight A's, because so have a lot of other people. You simply move into another bracket. And if you don't get A's, then you lose. How crap is that? Thoughts on this, anyone? This occurred to me as I realized that all the work leading up to break is just to stay afloat. I had been thinking in survival terms, like "just make it to winter break." But no, this is how it's going to be until the end. Oy. At least I'm not grounded anymore.

Fall Kallah this weekend! I'm actualy really excited. And I'm excited a little extra because now i have NFTY friends. Only 2 and only kinda, but it's a start.

Oh man, Thanksgiving break felt like forever. And I did nothing. Except eat and sit. Mostly just eat. All my relatives were out of town, and yet I spent the whole break with family. Too much. Saturday night was the traditional Kofsky New Orleans dinner. Sounds minor, but Robyn is an INCREDIBLE cook. It waso so good so soon after Thanksgiving. For some reason there was a really awkward vibe. With the adults too though. But Christina was there, and it was really nice to catch up with her for a while.

Enough stalling, DBQ finishing time.
