The holidays
So we went to Cy's fathers house for Thanksgiving. He moved to Mass. over the summer and he has the most amazing view from his living room window!!! Cy of course wants to move there, yesterday...but its a lot tougher moving now then it ever was. I want to move off this stupid island once and for all, but I want to do it the right was this time. (i.e. w/money and a plan :)) Anyway, so we went there and we went to the children’s museum!! That place (in Boston) is the coolest place and its mostly geared towards children under like 10 and there were tons of other toddlers...it was great. Of course, Cody had missed his nap two days in a row and was in a freaking MOOD the entire day. I am not kidding, he was mad a heck!!! But we made it through the weekend...I am not going to lie and say it was all fun and games because it most certainly wasn't...he was a beast most of the weekend, and again mostly our fault. We had to get him up really early on Thursday and then no nap...go to a strange house, go to sleep in a strange room, wake up super early because mommy and daddy are in the same room and I can see them so why not, no nap again, strange room sleeping again, wake up early again...no nap...again...you get the idea...by Saturday morning he had enough. I was messing with Cy on Saturday on the way home, it was so funny. I love messing with him. He is so gullible sometimes!!! :) And I was being punchy anyway, no sleep, and he was just easily annoyed...who could resist...:) We were able to talk to Cy's sister Greer, she is in Scotland now...I think they are six hours ahead of us. Anyway, it looked like she was doing good...you can talk to people while you watch them on the screen...its the coolest thing ever...love technology!! :) Kiddo was in town for a few days...she is awesome, looks wonderful...:) We went and saw Twilight, better then I thought it would be and I loved the cinematography!!! The acting was good, there were only a few things that I didn't like but its hard to make a book into a movie, no matter what you do not everyone is going to be happy...so all in all I think they did a good job on it!! :) that was pretty much the highlight of the weekend...:) a nice girls night out!! :) This Christmas Cy talked me into getting a real Christmas tree...ick...so maybe next weekend we will do that...maybe...and then I want to get Cody a kitchen and maybe a toy train for Christmas...not saying what anyone else may or may not be getting...:) :) I can't believe its only 25 days away, three weeks...it insane!!! Where did this year go....?????Well that is all I have for now...:) Hope all is well!!!
