Ok, as of today my job has OFFICIALLY become a joke.
My boss told one of my co-workers to stop talking to me. Oh the fucking drama.
She left the room after they had a brief exchange about this, which is when he called me over and told me about it.
Apparently, my boss is quite annoyed by what she views as his crush on me. They had a conversation during which she confronted him for the umpteenth time about whether or not he likes me and about what she and "everyone thinks." I'm assuming that "everyone" is her little boytoy and my manager.
The conversation ended with her telling him:
"There's only one way to change what people think right now. They are only gonna think it even more if you keep talking to her. You'd better stay away from her. Stop talking to her."
and he said:
"You know, I'm really sick and tired of you telling me this. I don't really care what anyone thinks, and I'm sick of these stupid questions. I DO NOT want to hear it anymore, and I'm dead serious. Leave me alone about this and never bring it up again."
She said:
"Well, it's your call."
and then she left the room. He left briefly to hang something up in the hall and she approached him and asked if she had made him mad. And he said that he told her he didn't want to talk about it.
All day, she was being a bitch to him. All the workstudies who work at my job also kill time there between classes, or if they're passing through Times Square, because we have fun. But, he got to work a half hour before his shift today since his class let out early and was talking to me because I was just behind the desk and it was dead as hell.
She ordered him to leave the room and couldn't even come up with a good reason.
