I saw Boys Don't Cry today for a class. It was desolate, but the lighting and cinematography was unimaginably good, and Hilary Swank was just- amazing. Amazing.
Tomorrow will be a full day: I'm going to a film screening of my former Cinematography professor's chosen student works from the years he's spent teaching at UP, and one of my projects made it; there's dinner, hopefully, with a boy I've been missing; there's my good friend Arianne's party, and she's Chinese so my racist parents can calm down a bit; and maybe if the night goes well, I can catch up with my Divas and head to Bed, which I've never been to before.
Of course, this is all theoretical.
However, gravity is a theory.
Lastly, I just saw the
most awe-inspiring fashion editorial ever. Each shot looks like some moody, intense, fleeing-to-the-big-city-to-make-it still from a movie. It's so beautiful.
