Well, there she is! The pic is kind of grainy and crappy... I don't know why it turned out like that but oh well I guess! Anyway... I know, the first thing you're probably thinking is "Damn, that's YELLOW" but it's definitely grown on me. It is such a cute house. We closed on November 14th and moved in immediately. Most of everything is arranged in it's own special spot now but we're still working on a lot of it. I'm so happy :) It's so nice to have my own bathrooms and my own kitchen to take care of. My own everything. I am going to love looking after it and keeping it clean. And having so many people over and doing whatever I want hahaha :) That is the coolest thing about having our own place... the feeling of FREEDOM! It'll take some getting used to but I'm ready to dive right in hahaha.
So the specs! I'm sure everyone is wondering. It has 3 bedrooms (one is technically a den with french doors), a living room, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and an enormous unfinished basement with laundry room. There is no backyard - it's pretty much just a patio with a fire pit which is great. That means three things:
[x] Minimal yard work.
[x] Tank has a place to roam, but it's not like she runs or anything, so it fits.
[x] Gatherings around the fire pit and plenty of room to GRILL!
Wonderful, isn't it? There's that area up front which you can see in the pic where I can plant flowers and such, which I won't worry about until next spring obviously. What else? Ah, there are 2 gas fireplaces to enjoy and there's a pot rack in the kitchen (teehee), which is very large might I add, and came with a dishwasher, gas stove, and a microwave - all with stainless steel finish. Fancy. They took the matching fridge though and all we had to put in its place was our free white fridge haha. Which works, so it's no big deal, I don't care that it doesn't match. The dishwasher is FANTASTIC. It's so quiet and beautiful.
The master bathroom has a tub and a shower, seperate. Very cool! And that is enormous as well, which is great. Oh and the walk-in closet... FINALLY, enough space for Ricky's clothes lol!! We had to buy like 70 hangers and I still don't think that's going to be enough! It's still a work in progress.
We have the big TV all set up and there's plenty of cozy space in the family room, but Ricky is still working on getting the surround sound to work and we're in the process of budgeting for internet. I can't wait til that happens haha - until then, we're just going to be busy unpacking the remainder of our stuff and/or watching TV or playing video games. Tank is still freaked out about the house, but I have beds for her everywhere so its like whatever room we are in, she's got a place to sit haha and she knows exactly where to go. We want to get a baby brother or sister for her soon :)
Ahh. I feel EXCELLENT. I love the house so much and I can't believe it's mine. It is such the perfect house for me and Ricky.
