I kinda got super Jossed when it comes to FH canon, so... ignore that ;)

The New Recruit
Part 5 of 7
Rating: PG, this time round, actually.
Disclaimers: I own none of this. Don't sue?

Cally and Nadia sat in their new dorm room, quietly freaking out. Quietly, because they knew that the administration could hear and see them here, and they still had the knowledge that Zoe Washburn was actually Anna Espinosa.

They were writing each other notes, freaking out and flailing internally. The Doctor would recognize them, he'd know who they really were. Little did they realize that they were about to freak out even worse. A tap came at the window, which then forced itself open thanks to the leverage of a few wires.

In stepped a young man in nice trousers, a button shirt, a vest, and a stylish monocle.

"Walter?" Cally sputtered.

"Surprise?" he said, wondering why exactly Nadia was staring, agape.

-----

"I hate Russia," Parker said. "I hate the cold, I hate the--"

"Could you be a little quieter?" Jarod said. "I'm having trouble with... oh no."

"Oh what?" Parker raised an eyebrow. Jarod handed her his binoculars, and pointed. She looked, and swore profusely. "Get the radio."

"One step ahead," Jarod said. He raised the radio and spoke. "This is popsicle stand to house of pancakes. Do you read me, house of pancakes?"

"House of pancakes recieves," came the voice through the radio. Jack Bristow's voice. "State your emergency."

Jarod told him. The swearing from the other end of the radio was somewhat undignified.

-----

"My brain hurts," Cally said.

"It's simple. Eventually I do, in fact, grow old and start my duties at Cafe Fina. But that's not for years," Walter said.

"Dios," Nadia said, putting down the aspirin bottle she'd already grabbed. "Why didn't you tell us when we saw you earlier?"

"Because for me, that's years in the future," Walter said. "Sorry."

"Please tell me you have information or something or anything," Cally said. "Let's just get down to business."

"We cannot talk here," Walter said. "We will go on the way to our target. There is no time to lose."

"Target, already? We haven't--" Nadia started.

"We strike tonight," Walter said. "We strike fast, before anyone can interfere."

-----

"Barry, you think you could maybe, I don't know, give me my keys back?" Marshall said, already beginning to sweat.

"You get your keys back when you tell me your top five records of all time, buddy boy," Barry said.

"Give 'em back, Barry," Marty said. "Now."

"No way," Barry said. "Not until--" The sound of the hammer of the gun stopped Barry mid-sentence.

"Give the guy his keys back, Barry," Marty said.

"This is so getting reported to my union," Barry said.

"Why are you," Marshall started stammering. "You don't--"

"What, you want me to blow my cover?" Marty said. "Get to your apartment, Flinkman. You'll find something important there."

-----

"There she is," Walter said, huddled with Cally and Nadia around the window of the principal's tower apartment.

"I've got the shot," Nadia said. "I'm going to--"

"ABORT, ABORT!" a voice over Cally's radio shouted.

"Repeat that," Cally said, pressing her comm device to her ear. "Abort mission?"

"Roger, abort," Jack Bristow's voice said. "Anna Espinosa is still in Russia."

"Then it's really Zoe Washburn here?" Cally asked, bewildered.

"Then who's the one who is manipulating everyone?" Nadia asked.

"I am," said a voice from the shadows. The figure stepped forward.

It was the Doctor.

End of pt 5!
