ze Winter
It was really cold today.
Thanks Texas, for pulling a fast one on us yet again!
The rain woke me up at 4am. It was pounding pretty relentlessly, knocking pecans off their tree and onto my roof. Awesome. I love trying to sleep to the sound of little things falling on your head.
Anyway, it was so cold and rainy that I decided my first two classes weren't as important as they'd originally seemed, so I read and hung out with my roomate instead. haha. AND i made real breakfast (accompanied by some Gillmore Girls watching), and it was scrumptious.
Though I gripe about it, I really love winter weather, so I'm excited that it's cold again. It makes me smile :)
Good things are about to happen...
I can feel it. I've had really good weeks...consecutively! *gasp*. I've spent a lot of time with people and its made more difference than I could've imagined. Seeing people, getting to know new friends and resting in the comfort of old ones has been amazing. That's what life is meant to be like. FUN THINGS: Mexico this weekend for my first mission trip ever. Then I get to embark on 2 tests when I return. Then some music playing the next week. Then home for thanksgiving! Then about 2 more weeks and then CHRISTMAS BREAK! I've got bunches to say, but it's after 1am and um I treasure sleep more than most things.
