Wow! A lot happened yesterday.

I woke up at 6:20, and went to start my car at 7:00 ... and nothing. The starter wasn't working. Grrr. Why couldn't it be on a day where I had to go somewhere I wished I didn't have to go to?  So I left  in Husband's car, later, after he diagnosed the problem, and still made it to York by 10:30. Not too bad all things considered!

First off, I have to say that I completely densed out when I said I hadn't seen Laura since the wedding. She visited over the summer; I have pictures of it for goodness sake! Anyhow, it was awesome to see her again! And I got to hold her sweet little baby; I think I'm getting much, much better at holding babies. It takes practice like anything else, I guess, especially if one is wary of it to begin with. We hung out (Amy was there too!) and ate pizza and donuts and popsicles. And watched a special on VH1 about '90s music. It was a wonderful time of catching up :)

Then I had dinner with Mom; I stayed much longer than I planned, but it was a good thing.

Then blazed down the highway to MD, where care group was meeting. I came late and Husband and I left early, which was a bummer, but we left because he bought us tickets to see Alice in Wonderland in 3-D!

He was smart to get the tickets ahead of time ... unfortunately, none of our friends got theirs ahead of time, and so weren't able to see the movie with us because they were sold out :(      We did end up in the third row or so from the front. It was a little rough and not entirely pleasant watching the movie in 3-D, AND that close. I'm not a fan of 3-D, and I'm not a fan of sitting close. So I would like to go back and see the movie again under more comfortable circumstances. I liked it, but we just didn't have an enjoyable experience.

A student recital for both my studio and Jonny's studio has been planned! I am super excited, but a little apprehensive. It's like planning a party and wondering if anyone will really show up.

Well, this is all really clipped. Oh well. On with the day!
