Snow
The snow is all melting, and yet they are calling for another 2 to 4 inches tonight. *Fingers crossed* I LOVE snow! Now, if I was commuting like I was last year, I would have a different opinion.
Squirrels
There are a few squirrels that have been playing in the back yard and on our roof ... and in our attic ... all day. Since breakfast time. Every once in a while, there is a lot of scuttling, and some leaves or other material will drift down from the roof onto the ground. We hear them occasionally, but never this much for so long, so I don't know what's going on. It sure is amusing, though!
Coffee
I wanted to have a cup of coffee before teaching and got totally distracted ... and now there is no time for coffee. Sad. I will perhaps treat myself to a cup when I get home, because I don't have to get up early tomorrow.
Reading
I finished reading "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close", and I have mixed feelings about it. I didn't dislike it, but I didn't like it. And strangely enough, it made me kind of nauseous at times, not because of what the text said, but because of how it was positioned on the page. And I'm a fast reader, and maybe I should have slowed down. I was probably supposed to. But when you're reading that fast and the text is all over the place, it just doesn't make reading quite as pleasant.
Some people on Goodreads said in some way or another that it lessened the whole 9/11 thing. Didn't do it justice or whatever. I don't believe if that's true, but I also don't believe that 9/11 was The Point of the book.
Marriage
Some people talk as if when you get married, your life gets boring. You get stuck in the routine, it's not exciting anymore, blah blah blah. I think that's totally ridiculous. Because not only do I have my own set of dreams and imaginings and experiences, I also have those of my husband, and likewise, he has mine. It's like double the fun! Seriously, though, it's definitely more interesting.
Dreams
Last night I dreamt that my sister eloped with her b/f, and I saw her and she told me "yeah, we're married", and although I thought it was totally cool in my dream, it was this serious crazy thing, so I woke up feeling like I didn't sleep very well. There were also a lot of other dreams in there.
