I worked more than 12 hours yesterday to get the proposal finished. My gig is now complete.
To celebrate my earnings and my returned self-confidence, I went and got a haircut this morning at the salon I went to ... last March. That's right. Not even a trim since March! My hair was limp and sad, but now it is bouncy and happy! She didn't take much length off, but took the weight off, and I love it.
Then I got a ton of groceries for under $100 because I had coupons and a bonus card!
Then I went to the bank!
Then I went to Staples and made copies of all the Christmas music I need to put in a binder for tomorrow's gig.
Then I got rear ended while I was at a stop light! By a van. Now my neck is sore, my spirits were significantly lowered, and my Saturn is making a noise, I think because the bumper is messed up (though cosmetically, it looks fine). Sad, sad.
And then I went and taught afterward.
The good ending: I'm going to wear my new dress for the party tomorrow! A new dress is always fun.
