Baltimore, jobs, quilts, la la la

Oooh, everyone, I am back in Baltimore for a tentative while. I have rehearsals  or performances every night until not this Sunday but the next.

So I came last night and Miss Anna was at rehearsal, and my computer wouldn't get internet, and I forgot the book I'm currently reading ("Toilers of the Sea", the thing's a beast; it's taking forever to finish it). And there was no TV. So I journaled a bit and went to bed. It was not bad, but it was weird!

Then this morning I woke up at 7:30...made eggs, did some cleaning/tidying up kinds of things since my room looks awful and plus I just felt like being useful and productive, so I mopped the floor--twice.

Then I hiked it on down to Caribou Coffee, which is where I am now...surrounded by people and coffee, and it's pretty nice.

I'm not sure if I'll actually be staying until the Sunday after next. I may go visit dear Jonathan in Gaithersburg, or go home for a bit (Lacey and I have to go shopping for Mother's Day anyhow).

I had an interview two weeks ago tomorrow and still haven't heard anything, other than they are still trying to get a whold of my references. I'm a little peeved, only because I was told there was a project that the CEO wanted to start me on the last week of April. So I figured it would be by then. I don't even know how much I'm making yet. I don't know anything other than...I have to wait. So whatever, I'll keep working on my quilt, which is sooooo looking awesome.

So....here I am, whiling away the morning until I meet Anna for lunch at our beloved California Tortila. I'm so excited. Crispy barbeque chicken ranch burrito, here I come!
