Vacay. Is. Over.
It's snowing again. Bleh. What a...drag. I have to keep reminding myself that it is still winter and that Spring is NOT around the corner. I think because Christmas is over, that Winter is over, but it's not. It's not.
I am still thinking about my warm vacation that I took though :-) Pictures are up on Facebook if anyone wants a looksie! We had such a wonderful time. As much as I am all about knowing/doing everything when I go on vacation, I found myself not even wanting to go each lunch because I didn't want to miss a minute of the sunshine! I think living in California all my life, when we went on vacation somewhere, it was no big deal to sit out in the sun because I could do it like everyday back at home. But now, I need the sunshine! What a relaxing vacation. Getting there was noooooooooo cake though.
Explain. Well, when we got to Nashville, our flight was delayed getting into Atlanta. By the time we made it to Atlanta and to our gate (we came into the B terminal and had to go to the E terminal) we missed our connecting flight. Well, we didn't miss it, they just decided to a) leave early and b) not wait for like 6 of us who were supposed to be on that flight. Asses. So, we had to fly to San Juan instead and then peddle jump it to St. Lucia. We were about 3 hours behind. Blessing? You bet. Our luggage never would have made it and instead of an hour and a half drive from the airport, we flew into the smaller one and had about a 30 minute drive instead! :-) We made it though! And it was beautiful there.
And now we are back here. Bleh. I need to be somewhere warmer. Well, it gets warm here. I just need to be someplace where there is more sunshine and more warmer days then just about 60. Wonderful. Our time will come though.
