ok. so im updateing again because the first update was just me being bored and typing my song for the play. so here we go, this is the real one.
play practice is starting to get a bit beter. but thats only hitting a rock botom low. we suck all kinds of bad. ive been through 3 kenwood plays, 2 as stage manager and then this one as part of the cast. we have the best talent by far for this play. but there is no heart. people have no determination. not in whole. there is a big handfull of people who are working there ass off but the rest of the cast who really doesent give a fuck is bringing them down. the play looks so so so freaking bad. we mess up on all of our songs... even me. i mess up on my own song. i know the words by heart, but i get out there and i just go poof... no more brain. lol. and people are messing up on their lines. even me. i know all my lines. you ask me any of my lines i can tell them to you. i get out there and poof... no more brain. i improvise as much as i can to keep the sceene going. thank god julie knows what the hell she is doing. or els i would bomb even more. and the worst of all. WHAT THE FUCK! GET THE HELL OUT ON STAGE! what the hell makes people think they dont need to be on stage. we had 2 main charachters just not walk out. i have no idea where the were. i have no freking clue. i know where the wernt... on stage. lol. one sceen sarah (louise) dident come out. good thing amanda (edna) could improvise enough to get the sceene finished. and the mics. holy god the mics. people thought the mics were bad last year. holy hell people have no idea what mic they should have, who has the mic. i just made a new chart after EVERYONE asking me to make it. i guess mine last year wasent that bad. but this play was so much harder because you have at least 20 people who need mics, and 11 mics to hand out some people are gonna get cut. so right now im still trying to fix the cinks. i swear man. i really hate not haveing enough mics. its gonna come down to the fact that hey, were sorry, but you cant have a mic. and people get pissed. but my mic chart, if you go on stage and u need a mic, apsotivly need a mic, you have one. except for 3 people. ben (jughead) never has a mic in the whole play. ben has one of the loudest voices. and all of his solo songs are at the edge of the stage, standing next to 2 people who do have mics. so he doesent need one. i tryed, giving him one would mean at least 2 other parts cant have one. and then there is Kevin (donald) he stands behind a bar the entire play. he comes out 3 times i think. that boy does have a loud voice. not the loudest but still its loud. so what im gonna do is mic the bar. hide a mic somewhere on the serface of the bar. i already have a great idea to where to hide it. this way he technically would alwayse have a mic. now he does come out and he has a solo in 2 songs. i made it so that he will have a bodie mic for those 2 songs. then when he has to come out and sing in the dark as me... he can take the handheld with him. i mean hell, he is supposed to have one anyway. then there is me. keith (ziggy) I have a hand held mic for my song. but then i come out on stage and i have no mic. i talk loud, and i am standing next to julie who has a mic. you hear me perfictly fine. so that im not worried about. but anyway, i need to stop typing and get to fixing it up some more. there has to be a beter way, so i just keep trying new charts, over and over, untill i find it. peace out.
