Cameo Appearances
If I had to guess, I'd say I remember my dreams about 40-50% of the time. Unfortunately sometimes that means I remember dreams I really, really would prefer not to- including some that are downright scary. For example, on several occasions I've had dreams where I was being chased by someone with a knife or gun. Also I've had several dreams where my dad has died or is terminally ill (weirdly, none of those kind of dreams about my mom, though).
The past couple of mornings I've had at least some recollection of my dreams, and in all cases they've included people I haven't seen, spoken to, or thought of in at least eight years, sometimes longer. Last night I was married to the guy I had a crush on in seventh grade. Two nights ago, I attended a party hosted by a guy I had a rather complicated relationship with in college. Sometime last month I dreamed I was back in my high school dance class, and there was another college-era guy in the audience at our show.
It's probably only a matter of time before some of these people start making real-life appearances via Facebook, as it seems like EVERYONE has discovered it, right down to people from elementary school. Weird.
