Sexism and the City?
That's how Newsweek sees it. I still haven't seen the movie (my date on Monday was postponed), but I have been kind of surprised at some of the reviews, particularly the one that appeared in the Boston Herald. I declined to read it, since it was spoiler-riffic, but I checked out the reader comments, and most of them were bashing the reviewer for giving away key plot points and admitting he'd never even seen an episode of the show before he reviewed the film (poorly).
It do agree with the Newsweek person for calling Indiana Jones a snoozefest...and when I finally go see SATC I'll find out if it's at least more engaging than Indy was. Yawn.
