Merry Christmas everyone. I just had a spectacular Christmas, except for the lack of snow. (Somehow, it just doesn't really feel like Christmas without the snow. Whatever.)
My Christmas festivities started on the day of Christmas Eve, when I went with Nicole and her family to dinner at the Golden Feather, and then to see Night at the Museum, which IMO was a terrific movie, and I give it 2 thumbs up. Then a bit later, Nicole and I joined Molly and EZ and the rest of my family (including my grandma) at Matt's church for midnight mass, which was good.
Then we started Christmas day off at about noon when I picked up grandma for a delicious breakfast. Then at 1:30 Nicole and I went to the girls' house (Jasmine (5) and Cheyenne (3)) To give them their Christmas gifts from the family and to enjoy their neighbor's company for a while. It was adorable because Nicole's parents got the girls a play kitchen with every accessory necessary for such a playscape, and it was hard to tell who was more excited about it, Nicole's mom or the girls. :) I was even pleasantly suprised when I got a Christmas card and a $5 gift card for McDonald's from the girls.
We got a brief break to enjoy our presents and stuff before Nicole's family dinner, where her cousin and grandma came over. Everything that I ate was good, although that only really covers the biscuit, the deviled egg, and the ham, cuz i wasn't too keen on anything else. Anyone who knows me knows that I don't really go for side dishes. Just my little quirk, I guess. Then it was back to my house where Matt was preparing his own delicious dinner. I was very full for a while tonight.
Then, after dinner, and things had died down a bit, Nicole and I just hung out downstairs and played pool and had a nice talk, and I couldn't help but think that she is my first and one true love. She means everything to me, and being able to spend the day with her made it all the more special.
