my interesting day- when it rains it pours
4 things
1. the governator came to our library today for a closed meeting. i missed seeing him bythismuch, but it was not the saddest part of the event. the saddest part of the event was secretly hoping that the buckets of security people would slam into the room (er, floor) and point guns at people and scream choatic things and raise havoc. alas, it was not to be.
2. i was over-customer-serviced at victoria's secret today.
me walks into store
greeter lady says 'hi welcome to blah blah.
me says 'hello
gl says 'is there anything i can help you with
me says 'no thank you just looking
gl says 'have you seen our latest collection of blah blah?
me repeats in slightly stronger tone ' no thank you. just. looking.
and not 2 minutes pass before gl comes to me again 'are you sure you're finding everything ok?
do i look like i steal things?
3. i rocked some d&d boy's world
i went looking for more d4s...(i know im geeking out) without remembering to put on my gamerboy-safe-glamour. instead of slouching, acting shy, and avoiding eye-contact while walking into sm's local gamer store, i walked in while taking off my jacket, swishing my hair and smiling to the room. as the counterboy bravely croaked 'can i help you' the other two gamer friends dropped their jaws on his counter. 'do you guys carry dice?'. the only answer i got was the two friends repeating the word 'dice' out loud and in-sync. i found the dice myself and while i was searching, every 15 seconds all 3 heads would swivel over to me, stare a bit, and then return to their geeking. i found my dice and paid and left.
4. i realized that since i started reposting, the two posters i read the most PAM AND KATIE have not posted very much. it makes me doubt my decision.
