And hurray for incompetant bozo techs who think it makes sense to load older versions of files and folders when putting files back into now-working PC! Yeah, I really didn't want the bookmarks, email, and fonts I'd accumulated in the last year. Really.
BTW apparently a non-existant problem fried the fucker. Supposedly I didn't have a network card in the network card slot and that made the motherboard go kaboom. I have the amazing power to be on the internet without a network card and fry motherboards that don't have onboard network cards by doing do.
