spring break
I'm still sitting in my grandmother's guest bedroom. Oh, wait, at one point this used to be my bedroom when I lived here during high school. Whatever. They get good wireless in this house, like, five, six signals from all around. I guess that is what you get living in a larger city/town/whatever Cary is. I was going home yesterday after my appointment but my dad was like "It's Lost night so I won't be going home so just stay there tonight, too."
So he's taking me out for Japanese tonight. I'm getting nabemono. One of my favorites. I might get some salmon sushi and give it a try, but I've hated all the sushi I've got in America and only liked the kind I got at Akindo (the conveyor belt sushi place near my home stay). It had mayo and onions on top, deeeelish.
My AJ video has 437 views - and the most clicks are now from a Chinese fantasy and science fiction forum, I finally figured it out. They are utterly creeped out by it, too, judging by babelfish. But seriously, 437 views in a day and a half for creepy dancing and ambiguous genders? Ooookay. I thought YouTube was banned in China?
Going to see Watchmen at 11:30 AM tomorrow. I am utterly jealous of Tin, but you can tell me AJ's role. I'm betting on door painting dude or random new character, because door painting dude is the only one from the book besides hazmat dude that fits I think. And you MUST show him the video. I must know what he thinks of that role. Speaking of AJ, though, I'm buying BSG seasons 1 and 2.0 today if they still have it in stock. I have 2.5 from Circuit City, but I really want the others, too. And once I finish those I'll buy 3 because they still have it at Walmart as of yesterday.
Hockey news...Williams for Cole? Whatever. As long as my dear Tuomo Ruutu stays here, I'm good. That GQ mother fucker is too fierce for anywhere besides here. I'm beginning to wonder if he's been knocked upside the head with a puck one too many times, though. He reminds me of Josef Vasicek's 'duhhhhhh'-ness a little too much. Hopefully it is just the English. I need to get tickets for tomorrow, dammit. If they haven't sold out because of Cole's return. Fuckity fuck. I don't like Cole that much! I'm just going for Ruutu with a side of Sutter if he's playing, which is unlikely. The rest can go screw themselves.
Shout out to Nella (hey_mayonegg) - first person I know IRL that I found on ONTD! All because of a Dr. Manhattan post. How strange. Also, I am totally going to shop a dress onto Dr. Manhattan because that sounds...freakishly hilarious? Or sexy. I dunno. Billy Crudup is so pretty in a dress... I wonder if Dr. Manhattan would be the same way.
