Humanity Can Suck It

Well, not all of humanity, but the good people of Wake Forest can!  Here is a big fuck you to you guys!

So I get in line to get gas, and since my gas tank is on the right side of the car, I have to pull in in front of another car.  As I wait for them to take FOREVER, someone pulls in behind them, and when the first car leaves, the second car slides right into the pump and ignores me when I start honking my car.  Okay, so I pull up while trying not to block traffic, they pump their gas, and then another car pulls in behind them.  When car #2 is done, car #3 tries to ignore me until I get out of the car and scream at him because I had been there for 20 minutes and my car was about five minutes from being empty.  Finally he backs up five inches, forcing me to park catty-corner to the pump so I could pump my gas, at which point he keeps telling me I'm on the wrong side.  Bitch ignores me when I tell him thank you and I pull out of there pissed off to no end.

Oh, and then my car died at an intersection and it took a miracle to restart it before the light changed.  Thankfully I got home in one piece.

I saw The Spirit today.  It was...okay.  That was about it.  I had higher hopes because I love stylized stuff, but even that was too stylized for me.  There were nazis and plot lines that were never resolved and then undead fingers.  I was like, WTF? the entire time.  Oh, and I was the only girl in the theater.  Of course, there WERE only 10 people in the theater.  Outside, though, there were a MILLION kids since school starts on Monday for them.  I went to see Benjamin Button on Wednesday and that was much better, but hey, I'm counting that as part of 2009's movie count.  But I FINALLY got to see the Watchmen trailer on the big screen today.  Only problem was that I got into it a minute late (and 10 minutes after the previews started) because the lines at the concession stands (I must have my Icee - it is a tradition) were killer and the cashier was a dumbass.

Billy Crudup as Jon Osterman/Dr. Manhattan on the big screen is fucking amazing.

Toodles for now!
