I Want To iTouch You
My main Christmas present was my iPod Touch, which I keep calling an iTouch so whatever. It is like the iPhone minus the phone, but it is way cool. It has wifi internet (so I can check ONTD wherever I go...that has wifi), movie capability, Google Maps, Weather, games, calendar, music, all that. I have played with it so much and watched Charlie the Unicorn a few dozen times on it. I really do love that stuff. I even downloaded some new music for it. New Beyonce, Kevin Rudolf, Britney Spears, L'arc~en~Ciel, Rihanna, U2, etc. I still need to update about my full Christmas and my flight home, don't I? Oh, well, not now. I have some stuff I need to do tonight - watch the game, finish making a character for this RPG (guilty pleasure!), wash my dog, take a shower, eat dinner... I spent too much time today playing with this thing, and then my mother came to visit for an hour and I showed her my stationary.
The only problem with this RPG is the Mary Sue factor. The writing isn't too intensive and therefore you are going to have your fair share of Mary Sues. That is where I come in - to create the most anti-Mary Sues ever to keep the Mary Sues in check. I have a cannibal, a schizo fairy serial killer, a neurotic business fraud escapee, a freakishly stupid ruling figure, her freakishly pissed off babysitting sister... I created the cannibal hoping that one of the Mary Sues would want to play with him, but sadly, it seems as if he is going to end up having to go cannibalize a not-so-cliched character. Oh, and yeah, there is a lot of retconning because PEOPLE FORGET WHAT THEY HAVE PREVIOUSLY AGREED ON AND GO AND CHANGE THINGS THAT MAKE MY CHARACTERS HISTORIES INCORRECT. Okay, that was just today, but it makes me mad but I am too nice of a person so I relented. Damn me. Basically someone went and enslaved the mother of my character who thought her mother was still happily alive and free and in contact with her. After she had agreed on my character's history. WTF? See, that is why I like writing by myself sometimes. It was basically insisted that I go with her idea and she came up with a reasoning for 'how it would work' (even though in reality I don't get it).
Okay, so I am going to go fight against the Sue and I promise, tomorrow hopefully, I will do my updates. I need to go to the used book store some time this week, though, and DSW, because I need to buy new books and new shoes! I am getting a pair of brown boots to wear with my skirt! I need a pair of brown or green tights, now...
Oh, and I WILL work on the letter for mustardancheese asap! I hope my letter to daydreaminchic got there in one piece! Or at least is still going that way!
