Squirrels promote recylcing!
Well, it's not "new" except to this community. This post on Sunday to this community reminded me of an old recycling flier from the University of Southern Maine (who I work for). After some digging around I found the scans I did of the artwork a few years back.
I have posted the four scans on my website for your enjoyment. My favorite has to be the one on the bottom left--the squirrel parading in the dump with a recycle sign. }:3
I think the flier dates back about 10 years or so. The text that I scanned around simply listed what could be recycled and where to recycle it on campus. What I find amusing that the flyer was full of squirrels when USM's mascot is a husky and not a squirrel, though there are many, many eastern grays on their two main campuses. I work in a satellite office 70 miles northeast of both campuses in the state capital of Augusta.
