Labor Day Weekend Pot luck
too bad i missed the party at the park, but i went to a pot luck instead. the neighborhood we went to had a private tennis court and swimming pool =DDDD! it was so tight...there was this alleyway that led into a woodsy type setting..and the trail led us to the swimming pool and right next to it was our own private court!^^ the whole place looked so nature-y since there were trees and gravel-ly roads..even the gates around the tennis court were made from wooden frames..not metal..soothing =P
There was only one court..but it didn't really matter since no one was there anyway =P There were big trees surrounding the court, so it was extra shady^^ altho..there was acorns, leaves, and tree sap all over the ground =P haha..ne way, i bageled my brother! haha...6-0! o yea! ^.~
there was this really cute maltese dog that another family brought over to the pot luck. it was so small..and furry..and white^^..i think i almost knocked it out with a tennis ball o.o haha..but it was very cute =]
then we walked back to their house and i did Chemistry homework..i finished all of it except for the 1-6 wkst due on thrs, a few of the questions confused me..anyone else get them yet?
Dinner was pretty yummy..and then i tried green tea ice cream for dessert..only because there has been so many good things associated with green tea these days, such as....
yaaay...green tea frappuccino..so pretty..so green..so good =D
then after, we sang karaoke^^;; lol..they had a pretty cool karaoke machine =D it had these two huuge books of songs, and each had a barcode or number code next to it. you would enter the number or the song u want with the remote and it would create a waiting list of requests. it even gave u a score out of a hundred after each song you sing according to your rythm and voice pitch X]
there were so many songs too =D they had french, japanese, english, chinese, and spanish! haha..i sang jingle bells in french =P plus they had a whole bunch of cool songs..if we end up getting the karaoke machine, it would be tres amusing to watch people sing at a party or somthing^^
