New Students Page!
So, I've decided to Join Polymagic U! Now what?
Okay, first thing's first. Create a new LiveJournal for your character. Please do NOT use your already existing LJ, because the players don't want to have to sift through a large number of your RL posts to get to player posts.
Alright. I've created a new LJ, what next?
Join the community! Go to polymagic_u and look at the top of the page for the link that reads "join this community." Click that. Too easy! (You'll also want to do that for polymagic_ooc and polymagic_logs )
And then?
Next, please go to polymagic_u and post an introduction! (To post to a community, select the link labeled " Post to this community" on the top bar of the screen, beneath the community name.) That way everyone knows to add you to their friends list. Please include the following information:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
LJ:
Major (if in University):
Clubs (if any):
And create a bio for the character.
Example:
Name: Charles Carroll
Age: 20
Gender: Male
LJ: charlescarroll
Major: Offensive Magics
Clubs: Dueling Club
Bio: Charles Carroll is the older brother of Holly Carroll. He's slender and tall, and very over-protective of his little sister. Currently, he's a university student majoring in Offensive Magics in the hopes he can join the Magical Enforcement branch of the FBI. He's a member of the Dueling Club.
Anything else?
Yes! Please repeat what you just posted in a REPLY to this very post. Then go and add everyone already shown below to your friends list! (Note: When I add you to the Friends List below, I'll erase your reply to this post. Don't be alarmed when that happens! it's for neatness sake.)
