An End to A Good Month
So, tomorrow is the official start of spring semester. It's nice to have everyone back on campus, but i did enjoy interterm while it lasted.
Twas quite lonely though. I spent a lot of time just chilling in my room, reading, watching TV and movies, sleeping, and just hanging in general. but it was nice to have the room to myself.
so... my weekends were mixed w/ very boring and laid back and very fun and eventful... one weekend consisted of a going away party, which was sad, but happy cuz they were studying abroad in italy, a little evening get together at monroe house that was fun and then walking back w/ tommy and just hanging at his house for awhile. then later going back to his house to play some wii
this last weekend was also really fun. took a little road trip to Santa Barbara with me roommate, it was kinda last minute on my part, but still very fun. he was talking bout how long the trip was and i was like oh i'll go with you and stay with one of my best friends! so... i met some fun people and it was pretty cool to see the party scene at such a big college... i also just chilled w/ CJ, which was fun since i haven't seen her in forever... and the drive was very pleasant as well, though it was raining on saturday, which really sucked.
there were also some fun weekdays. tommy's been coming over on wednesdays to watch top chef, which was fun. though i'm very upset that marcel is in the finals!!! bout a week ago i was just hanging out with some of my brothers and we watched the office and scrubs and took a trip to sonic, which was quite yummy, and proceeded to play some catch phrase, it was a very fun evening!!
my cultural antropology class over interterm went well. we only met twice a week and was never fully 3 hours any time. we had a lot of interesting guest speakers and some pretty good movies. i didn't really learn that much, but it was a very impactful class. the professor was awesome too!! my only worry was that the grade was only based on my final, midterm, and paper. i'm pretty sure i'll still pass the class, but maybe just not an A, but no worries.
alright... well... that was my january... i still need to send my mom's birthday package... and yay for kairos 10 a year ago!!! i'm also prolly moving out of my room, but update on how that goes later. alright... here's to a good semester and a good february!!
