So, I have no idea how plate weights work. I know, they don't actually *work* but...I need help.
I have 100lb heavy bag and a new stand, but I've always only had bags mounted in the ceiling. The stand needs to be counterweighted but the pegs are so small and the holes in the plates are so big! ...and no, this is *not* a sexual allegory.
Why don't they it fit? How do I get the plates to stay put? Find smaller weights and just keep stacking them up? I've got 2 25lb plates on each peg of the stand. And I actually think I may need more. But why is there squishy foam stuff on the pegs? I was supposed to remove that before putting the plates on, right?
The 50lb plate I found originally would've fit better I think, but they only had one in stock. Why do they have different sizes?!? *frustrated*
I don't get it. It's probably something simple, too. This is what too much peroxide can do to a person.
