Security blankets...

I just let go, a little, of one of my security blankets. I cut about 8 inches off my hair, so its just below shoulder length. I'm not sure if I'm happy about it yet, it is however as short as I can cut it on my own. I'll go to a salon and get a style soon I suspect

i was growing it out to see how long it would get. It was holding steady at about 2" below my butt, so i was sitting on it, getting it caught in chairs and car doors, and..... hitting my mom in the face with the braid when i got into the car and swung it to the front so i wasn't sitting on it .

i have an oily and dry scalp, my hair always gets oily faster at the scalp yet i have problems with flakiness too, yeesh. i hope the cassia will help with that. G had a similar problem with the oiliness when he grew his hair long, i can ask him what shampoo he was using (i think it was called Aubrey but i'll check).

Do you condition your hair? Ever heard the phrase, shampoo above the ears, condition below them? i do that, though i let the shampoo suds work down the length too and it doesn't seem to hurt it. The conditioner, once in a while i condition the scalp but that's not even once a month. Normally i just condition below the ears. And i use an oil on my ends sometimes. But you just use it sparingly, and when the hair is still damp, otherwise it'll look like oil, heh.
