Costume lovers ahoy!

For those of you who make stuff, may I recommend the Northern Society of Costume and Textiles? They publish four pattern packs for a few quid, each of which has historical notes and scaled patterns for historical garments. My favourite is (predictably) a 1790s dress worn by a French aristocrat to escape the Terror, now owned by her English descendent.
