its friday, im in love...
ahoy hoy! well im here at the "TEP" with an hour to kill, so i thought i would update my journal. this week has gone by pretty fast and has been pretty good. i had my first tests of the semester and i thought i did pretty damn good. i had an American Fiction test/essay on monday over the 589 page book i had to read and i think i got a 'B'. but we'll see what happens. then in astronomy, i had my test on tuesday and it took me a good 15 minutes to finish it. i thought it was extremely simple, now watch me get an F. thatd be funny, in a way. then in media writing i had ANOTHER test and i got an 84 on it. not bad, ill take it. if i would have studied, i may have gotten an A. but now the weeks over and im waiting here at school for this stupid review for political science for our test on monday. hopefully the test wont be too difficult.
and now for my weekend plans...well tonite is Eastwood's homecoming game and i am actually going! despite the crazy nostalgia that i'll be feeling tonite, im gonna go because i was persuaded by a very special someone. this will be the first game of theirs that i go to since last years homecoming! wow, crazy how time flies. hopefully i wont feel too uncomfortable. ill be going with daniels dad, who likes to sit so far away from everyone, so thats a good thing. maybe ill go looking for some of my old teachers so i can chat with them and see what is new in their lives. i think i miss high school because once you get to college, everything just seems to be more serious. its harder to have fun and what not, but maybe thats just me. and then after the GAME, we'll head on over to my friend jackies apartment which is here in utep actually. should be fun.
for tomorrow, i have no plans. i really want to watch the forgotten tho. now i just need someone to go with. if you want to go watch this movie, please let me know. oh yea and maybe play some basketball with the fellas in the morning. i havent done anything athletic in months. im gonna be dying on the court.
ohhhh, cool update...ROAD TRIP!! were taking another road trip on october 29th to tempe, arizona. to see INTERPOL!!! nice! the secret machines will be opening for them which should be wicked cool too. id like to thank sepe and t-bones for throwing out that idea about going to this show. mad props kids.
