I was really nervous about writing this because I am not a fan of Peter, and I didn't know if I could write him believably due to that. But by the end, I actually felt bad for what I was doing to him. I would like to see Sylar believably redeemed (though not made into a Good Guy), and I think that Peter, the empath who's also the one person with potential to be more powerful than Sylar, might be able to break through to the part of him that's still human. I think Mohinder has a better chance though--not sure how many of the eps you've seen in the UK so I won't talk about why.
I've actually been thinking for a few weeks about how Sylar would react if he didn't have to take brains any more. I suspect the actual killing gives him a sense of control that he desperately wanted when he was Gabriel Gray and thought changing his life was "futile". So, would he be content to just travel around and collect more abilities? Or would he find a new justification for murder?
Would you mind if I friended you? I was reading your fics and your original writing, and really liked it all. (I have a personal LJ too, but I generally use it to blow off steam, so it's a mix of complaining and silly fandom stuff.)
