No one the show really seems to have a great future ahead of them, but Mohinder especially strikes me as someone who's destined for a terrible future no matter what he does. You brought that out in this story: most of his potential futures are full of angst and woe and death, but now he knows there's ONE potential future out there that doesn't end up terribly for him.
The "good" future with Mohinder and his daughter (and "August") was nice. I liked how you built up what his life had been like, with all the little details and interactions. And things like "I've grown accustomed to your face" (I laughed, heh) when he hasn't seen Sylar's real face in years. And it's a good contrast with how hateful he is towards Sylar at the end, even realising that the only way his future won't suck is to let Sylar into his life.
Also, I liked this line: "You just know all these futures are out there, waiting to crash on you." Very apt, and it's a great bit of imagery. I liked that OC, and her method of telling Mohinder to GTFO.
(...when I first read the title, I read it as "The Future Is Tekken". I was very, very confused until I read the author's notes, LOL.)
Great as always. :)
