From europe

So I'm currently in an internet cafe in paris, about to go back to our apartment to pack for the plane to iceland tomorrow.

I'm returning on friday evening, and I'll probably be pretty jetlagged, but I will be back.

Here's what I have to say about europe:

Paris=awesome. That's really it. The food is beyond description, although it is rather expensive. I just really like it here.

Barcelona=awesome. Not as all-around fabulous as paris, but I really enjoyed speaking spanish, which was especially helpful at the police station (come to my graduation party or talk to me in person for details). It was kinda touristy though, but I didn't think it was as bad as bach did.

London=not-so-great. I think a big part of why I didn't really enjoy london was that we didn't really have a plan. However, I think it is true that there is less to do in london than in paris.

Normandy=a great place, but a crappily-arranged trip. When you see me (or bach or any of my family members at my graduation party), ask me to tell you the story about the rental van without windshield wipers, it's actually really funny.

Iceland=I haven't been there yet, except for the airport, which doesn't count.

However, I'm dying to hear news about the theater. What's the season for next year? What's this about the retreat being moved? If we still want to do it at my cabin, it's possible that we may be able to re-schedule it for saturday and sunday, but I'm not commiting to that without talking with my family. If need be, send me an e-mail (or a comment) and I can call somebody to find more stuff out. I have all my phone numbers with me. Just rember that when it's noon in minneapolis, it's 7pm is paris and 5pm in iceland.
