Not that that should be news to anyone, but it was hightlighted to me last night on public radio. Coleman is calling for Kofi Annan, the secretary-general of the UN to resign because he was the secretary-general during the oil-for-food program, which was "riddled with fraud ( Read more... )

Haven't we always known that Norm Coleman was a sleazeball? Really? Ever since he changed parties to get farther in politics (because he knew he'd never have a chance at Senator as long as Paul Wellstone was around)?

Politicians like him, Tim Pawlenty, and Randy Kelly frustrate me a lot, because they are so freaking selfish.

On a different note: have you heard of Brand Democrat? Google it -- it's a good idea.

i knew this, and it pisses me off even more everytime he does something else really stupid.

and seriously, how in the hell could anyone call him a 99% improvment over wellstone? HOW???

I haven't the faintest idea. I liked Garrison Keilor's post-election comparison, though. He said that electing Norm Coleman over Walter Mondale was like going in to a great steak house and ordering a tuna fish sandwich.

Oh, and the Bush administration, through the ambassador to the UN, expressed its support for Kofi recently, which leaves the question: if not because George told him to, why the hell is norm doing this?
